Sunrise Renewal Ceremony
This is an ancient Amazonian detoxification tradition. Although it is a Secoya ritual, it is practiced all over the Amazon Jungle. The custom is to drink several very large gourds of an alkaline bitter tea that helps rid toxins from the body to make one strong. We use the dawn energy to drink this tea combined with breathing and meditation practice.
